The Remnant Church of Jesus Christ
We believe in the prophecies of God and that they are for everyone and should be shared with those who seek them. We believe
that God revealed His prophecies to His prophets by the power of His Holy Spirit,
(II PETER 1:20-21)   (20)  “KNOWING
THIS FIRST, THAT NO PROPHECY OF THE SCRIPTURE IS OF ANY PRIVATE INTERPRETATION.   (21)  FOR THE
PROPHECY CAME NOT IN OLD TIME BY THE WILL OF MAN:  BUT HOLY MEN OF GOD SPAKE AS THEY WERE
MOVED BY THE HOLY GHOST.”

We believe that  as God  reveals  His  prophecies  to us, we must take heed and obey them,  (II PETER 1:19)  “WE HAVE ALSO
A MORE SURE WORD OF PROPHECY; WHEREUNTO YE DO WELL THAT YE TAKE HEED, AS UNTO A LIGHT THAT
SHINETH IN A DARK PLACE, UNTIL THE DAY DAWN, AND THE DAY STAR ARISE IN YOUR HEARTS:” (Rev. 22:7).

We  believe that  in Bible prophecy God uses  symbolism to represent a certain person, place, or thing:

BEASTS  represent  kingdoms or  powers,
(DANIEL 7:17)  “THESE GREAT BEASTS, WHICH ARE FOUR, ARE FOUR
KINGS, WHICH SHALL ARISE OUT OF THE EARTH.”

KINGS stand for kingdoms,   (DANIEL 7:23)   “THUS HE SAID, THE FOURTH BEAST SHALL BE THE FOURTH
KINGDOM, UPON EARTH, WHICH SHALL BE DIVERSE FROM ALL KINGDOMS, AND SHALL DEVOUR THE
WHOLE EARTH, AND SHALL TREAD IT DOWN, AND BREAK IT IN PIECES.”

HORNS represent kings or powers,  (DANIEL 7:24)  “AND THE TEN HORNS OUT OF THIS KINGDOM ARE TEN
KINGS THAT SHALL ARISE: ...”

WATERS  represent  multitudes,  people, nations, or heavily populated areas,  (REVELATION 17:15)  “AND HE SAITH
UNTO ME, THE WATERS WHICH THOU SAWEST, WHERE THE WHORE SITTETH, ARE PEOPLES, AND
MULTITUDES, AND NATIONS, AND TONGUES.”

WOMAN in Bible prophecy represents  the church or God’s people.  Zion is God’s church or people in the world, (ISAIAH
51:16)  “AND I HAVE PUT MY WORDS IN THY MOUTH, AND I HAVE COVERED THEE IN THE   SHADOW   OF
MINE   HAND,   THAT   I   MAY   PLANT   THE HEAVENS, AND LAY THE FOUNDATION OF THE EARTH, AND SAY
UNTO ZION, THOU ART MY PEOPLE.” (JEREMIAH 6:2)  “I HAVE LIKENED THE DAUGHTER OF ZION TO A
COMELY AND DELICATE WOMAN.”  (REVELATION 19:7-9)   (7)   “LET US BE GLAD AND REJOICE, AND GIVE
HONOUR TO HIM:  FOR THE MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB IS COME, AND HIS WIFE HATH MADE HERSELF READY.
(8)  AND TO HER WAS GRANTED THAT SHE SHOULD BE ARRAYED IN FINE LINEN, CLEAN AND WHITE:  FOR
THE FINE LINEN IS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF SAINTS.  (9)  AND HE SAITH UNTO ME, WRITE, BLESSED ARE
THEY WHICH ARE CALLED UNTO THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB.  AND HE SAITH UNTO ME, THESE
ARE THE TRUE SAYINGS OF GOD.”

God refers to His pure, faithful, and obedient church as a virgin, and the apostate or disobedient church as a whore.
(Jer. 3:1,6-7; II Cor. 11:2; Zech. 9:9; Zeph. 3:13-14; Rev. 17:18; Hosea 2:19-20; Jer. 31:3-4; Psalm 45:10-14; Isa. 54:5-6;
Ezek. 16:1-52)
