The Remnant Church of Jesus Christ
HELL
We believe the lost are going to die in hell's fire because they do not know God, and neither do they believe the truth.  They are
going to be destroyed because they have not the love of the truth in them,
(JOHN 17:3)  “AND THIS IS LIFE ETERNAL, THAT
THEY MIGHT KNOW THEE THE ONLY TRUE GOD, AND JESUS CHRIST, WHOM THOU HAST SENT.”
(II
THESSALONIANS 2:10-12)
 (10)  “AND WITH ALL DECEIVABLENESS OF UNRIGHTEOUSNESS IN THEM THAT
PERISH; BECAUSE THEY RECEIVED NOT THE LOVE OF THE TRUTH, THAT THEY MIGHT BE SAVED.  (11) AND
FOR THIS CAUSE GOD SHALL SEND THEM STRONG DELUSION, THAT THEY SHOULD BELIEVE A LIE:  (12) THAT
THEY ALL MIGHT BE DAMNED WHO BELIEVE NOT THE TRUTH, BUT HAD PLEASURE IN UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.”
(JOHN 8:45)  “AND BECAUSE I TELL YOU THE TRUTH, YE BELIEVE ME NOT.”  (Rom. 2:12-13; II Pet. 3:16; II Tim.
4:3-4; I John 2:4; Hosea 4:1-2,6; I Cor. 6:9-10; Rev. 21:8; Rom. 1:18-32; etc.).

We believe that hell was  initiated for the  Devil (Satan) and his angels.  Upon the acceptance and the passing on of sin unto
humanity, all unrepentant sinners will join Satan in his final punishment of death in hell’s fire,
(MATTHEW 25:41)   “THEN
SHALL  HE  SAY ALSO UNTO THEM ON THE LEFT HAND, DEPART FROM ME, YE CURSED, INTO EVERLASTING
FIRE, PREPARED FOR THE DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS:”
(JOB 21:30)  “THAT THE WICKED IS RESERVED TO THE
DAY OF DESTRUCTION; THEY SHALL BE BROUGHT FORTH TO THE DAY OF WRATH.”

We believe that God has promised eternal life to the saved only, and death unto the lost, (I JOHN 2:25)  “AND THIS IS THE
PROMISE THAT HE HATH PROMISED US, EVEN ETERNAL LIFE.”
(JOHN 6:40,47)  (40)  “AND THIS IS THE WILL OF
HIM THAT SENT ME, THAT EVERY ONE WHICH SEETH THE SON, AND BELIEVETH ON HIM, MAY HAVE
EVERLASTING LIFE:  AND I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY.  (47)  VERILY, VERILY, I SAY UNTO YOU, HE
THAT BELIEVETH ON ME HATH EVERLASTING LIFE.”
(JOHN 3:16,36)  (16)  “FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD,
THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT
HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.  (36)  HE THAT BELIEVETH ON THE SON HATH EVERLASTING LIFE:  AND HE THAT
BELIEVETH NOT THE SON  SHALL  NOT SEE  LIFE;  BUT  THE WRATH OF GOD ABIDETH ON HIM.”
(John 5:24;
John 10:27-28; John 11:26; Matt. 19:29, Matt. 25:46; Titus 1:1-2; I John 5:11; Jude 21; etc.).

We believe that God has promised death to the lost and never eternal life in hell’s fire.  You can not be burned to death unto
ashes and still be alive.  You can not be dead and alive at the same time.  Dead or death means you are not alive in any way,
shape, or form,
(II PETER 3:7) “BUT THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH, WHICH ARE NOW, BY THE SAME WORD ARE
KEPT IN STORE, RESERVED UNTO FIRE AGAINST THE DAY OF JUDGMENT AND PERDITION OF UNGODLY MEN.”
(REVELATION 20:6,15)  (6)  “BLESSED AND HOLY IS HE THAT HATH PART IN THE FIRST RESURRECTION:  ON
SUCH THE SECOND DEATH HATH NO POWER, BUT THEY SHALL BE PRIESTS OF GOD AND OF CHRIST, AND
SHALL REIGN WITH HIM A THOUSAND YEARS.  (15)  AND WHOSOEVER WAS NOT FOUND WRITTEN IN THE
BOOK OF LIFE WAS CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE.”
(MALACHI 4:1)  “FOR, BEHOLD, THE DAY COMETH, THAT
SHALL BURN AS AN OVEN; AND ALL THE PROUD, YEA, AND ALL THAT DO WICKEDLY, SHALL BE STUBBLE:
AND THE DAY THAT COMETH SHALL BURN THEM UP, SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS, THAT IT SHALL LEAVE
THEM NEITHER ROOT NOR BRANCH.”
(Job 21:30; Rev. 21:8; II Thess. 1:8-9; Psalm 9:5-6; Jer. 21:8; Ezek. 18:4,20,23;
John 5:24; Ezek. 18:31-32; Ezek. 33:11; Rev. 2:11; etc.).

We believe that the majority of humanity and God’s church in this world are going to be lost.
 (MATTHEW 7:13-14)  (13)
“ENTER YE IN AT THE STRAIT GATE:  FOR WIDE IS THE GATE, AND BROAD IS THE WAY, THAT LEADETH TO
DESTRUCTION, AND MANY THERE BE WHICH GO IN THEREAT:  (14)  BECAUSE STRAIT IS THE GATE, AND
NARROW IS THE WAY, WHICH LEADETH UNTO LIFE, AND FEW THERE BE THAT FIND IT.”
(ROMANS 9:27)
“ESAIAS ALSO CRIETH CONCERNING ISRAEL, THOUGH THE NUMBER OF THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL BE AS THE
SAND OF THE SEA, A REMNANT SHALL BE SAVED:”

God says that only a remnant of His entire church will be saved, which means only a few as compared to the vast number of the
lost.
(MATTHEW 22:14)  “FOR MANY ARE CALLED, BUT FEW ARE CHOSEN.”  (Matt. 20:16; Luke 12:32; Rev. 20:8-9;
Matt. 7:21-23).

How many were saved at the time of Noah and Sodom and Gomorrah?  Very few; only eleven. (Luke 21:26-30; Gen. 6:5-18;
Gen. 7:7; Gen. 19:1-28).  How many adults of God’s church of Israel who came out of Egypt made it into the “Promised Land”?
Only two:  Joshua and Caleb, (Numbers 14:26-38).

We do not believe that hell’s fire is to be everlasting and that it will burn forever.  We do not believe that the lost are going to
burn or are burning today and forever in a torturous flame of agonizing fire.  This is not in harmony with God’s character and holy
written Word, as the scriptures will prove.  God is a God of love, (I John 4:8-9,16).  He is a God of mercy and compassion,
(Psalm 145:8 and Psalm 86:15; etc.).  For God to devise and initiate such an eternal torture and to immortalize sin and sinner is
not Godly, nor is it scriptural.  God is a fair and just God, not a tyrant.  God has promised death to the lost, not life.  We will first
look at the controversial scriptures that speak of an “everlasting fire”,
(MATTHEW 25:41,46)  (41)  “THEN SHALL HE SAY
ALSO UNTO THEM ON THE LEFT HAND, DEPART FROM ME, YE CURSED, INTO EVERLASTING FIRE, PREPARED
FOR THE DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS:  (46) AND THESE SHALL GO AWAY INTO EVERLASTING PUNISHMENT:  BUT
THE RIGHTEOUS INTO LIFE ETERNAL.”
(II THESSALONIANS 1:9)  “WHO SHALL BE PUNISHED WITH
EVERLASTING DESTRUCTION FROM THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD, AND FROM THE GLORY OF HIS POWER.”

Another text speaks of being “tormented day and night for ever and ever,”  (REVELATION 20:10)  “AND THE DEVIL THAT
DECEIVED THEM WAS CAST INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE AND BRIMSTONE, WHERE THE BEAST AND THE FALSE
PROPHET ARE, AND SHALL BE TORMENTED DAY AND NIGHT FOR EVER AND EVER.”

We are going to prove, through the Holy Bible, that what God is speaking  of  here is that  THE RESULTS OF HELL AND ITS
FIRE IS WHAT WILL BE EVERLASTING, AND THE KNOWLEDGE OF THIS IS WHAT WILL BE A TORMENT TO THE
LOST DAY AND NIGHT FOR EVER.

We  also  find  texts that speak of an “unquenchable fire” in
(MATTHEW 3:12):  “WHOSE FAN IS IN HIS HAND, AND HE
WILL THOROUGHLY PURGE HIS FLOOR, AND GATHER HIS WHEAT INTO THE GARNER; BUT HE WILL BURN UP
THE CHAFF WITH UNQUENCHABLE FIRE.”
(Mark 9:43-48; Jer. 17:27).  The Bible also speaks of an “eternal fire” in
(JUDE 7): “EVEN AS SODOM AND GOMORRAH, AND THE CITIES ABOUT THEM IN LIKE MANNER, GIVING
THEMSELVES OVER TO FORNICATION, AND GOING AFTER STRANGE FLESH, ARE SET FORTH FOR AN
EXAMPLE, SUFFERING THE VENGEANCE OF ETERNAL FIRE.”
(JEREMIAH 17:27)  “BUT IF YE WILL NOT
HEARKEN UNTO ME TO HALLOW THE SABBATH DAY, AND NOT TO BEAR A BURDEN, EVEN ENTERING IN AT
THE GATES OF JERUSALEM ON THE SABBATH  DAY;  THEN  WILL  I  KINDLE  A  FIRE IN THE GATES THEREOF,
AND IT SHALL DEVOUR THE PALACES OF JERUSALEM, AND IT SHALL NOT BE QUENCHED.”

The unquenchable  fire  simply means that with this type of destruction from God, no man can put this fire out or alter its
destructive powers.  Only God can extinguish this type of fire.  It is the result of this fire that is unquenchable, everlasting, and
eternal.  The Bible gives us an example in (Exodus 21:2-6) and (I Samuel 1:22-28) where God says that the servant will serve
his master forever.  The term “forever and ever” in this case is merely figurative or meaning “as long as you live”.  We know
this servant and his master is not still alive today.  In (Mark 9:44) it mentions “their worm dieth not”, which represents the
permanency of death, especially the second or eternal death.  The fire that is not quenchable simply means its results is as eternal
as death itself, without any hope of resurrection.

The question we need to ask is: Are the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah still burning today with a literal unquenchable fire?  Are
the gates and palaces of Jerusalem still burning today?  No, indeed!  The gates and the palaces don’t even exist anymore, (Matt.
24:2 and Matt. 23:38).  However, the results of that fire that God had sent was certainly “unquenchable and everlasting” because
these things will never happen nor exist ever again.  Therefore, what is ETERNAL; and what is EVERLASTING; and what is
UNQUENCHABLE; and what is FOREVER is THE RESULTS OF THAT DESTRUCTION by fire from God, including hell’s
fire.

We also want to discuss here the  “Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus” because there are many who believe that the story of the
rich man And Lazarus teaches an eternal hell of torment and torture.  We know that the Bible cannot contradict and when it seems
to do so, we can be sure we are reading it wrong and not rightly interpreting the Word of God in truth.  We find the parable of the
rich man and Lazarus in (Luke 16:19-31), and we can be sure that God is not contradicting himself here.  It is simply a “parable”
used to emphasize a point.  We must keep in mind that parables cannot be taken literally, as we will show here.  If we take them
literally, then we must believe that trees talk (see parable in Judges 9:8-15).  We would also be led to believe that only five
virgins with lamps burning and having extra oil for those lamps will be making it into heaven (Matthew 25:1-13) and that when
Jesus comes for his church, He will only find five virgins ready, while the other five are out shopping for more oil for their
lamps.  Are you beginning to see the point?  In reality, the story of the ten virgins actually represents all of God’s people in His
church.  The lamps represent the Holy Word of God (Psalm 119:105), and the oil for those lamps represent the Holy Spirit (John
16:13 and John 14:26; Ex. 35:14; Ex. 39:35-37; and Rev. 1:12-13,20).

There are many points that make this story of the rich man and Lazarus a parable and not all literal fact.  A few are as follows:

1.  Abraham’s bosom certainly is not in heaven, and neither is heaven mentioned in this parable; this can only be surmised.

2.  God refers or likens hell unto the grave or pit because it represents death, and people who go down to the pit or grave cannot
talk or communicate with anyone (anywhere) because they are dead, (Isa. 14:9,11,15,19-20; Ezek. 32:22-23,27; Isa. 65:17; Eccl.
9:5 and Psalm 115:17; etc.).

3.  In Luke 16:27-28, the rich man asks that a message of warning be sent to his father’s house because he still has five brothers
living there. The dead cannot leave the grave and go anywhere because now is the accepted time; now is the day of salvation and
not the time of sending warnings from the grave, (Job 17:13-16; John 5:28-29 and II Cor. 6:2).  The Bible states very plain and
clear that the body that goes down into silence (not talking) to the pit (grave or hell) will corrupt and decay; and the spirit or soul
(their breath) goes back to God who gave it, (Psalm 115:17; Psalm 6:5; Psalm 104:29 and Job 17:13-16).  The body that goes
down to the grave remains in the grave, (Job 14:10-14).  If this were literal, another would-be contradiction is:  If  the saved in
heaven  are going to be able to see and communicate with the evil people who are in hell’s fire, then we would certainly
remember why they are in hell and what hell is. Not according to God!  See (Isaiah 65:17; Ecclesiastes 1:11 and Revelation
21:4).

4.  Another point taken is that all of humanity will be rewarded at the time of Jesus’ second coming when the first resurrection of
the saved will take place and not at the time of death.  The act of hell’s fire is not initiated at this point but at the time of the
second resurrection, which is after the Thousand-Year reign, (Revelation 20:5-6; Revelation 22:11-12 and Matthew 16:27).  So
neither Lazarus nor anyone else could be burning in hell’s fire today.

5.  The lost are going to be cast into hell at the end of the thousand years and not when they die at death, (Revelation 20:5,14-15;
Matthew 13:40-42).

The point of the message that Jesus is bringing has nothing to do with the dead talking or looking for a drink of water to cool
themselves or for the sending of any messengers.  We find the answer in
(LUKE 16:31)  “AND HE SAID UNTO HIM, IF
THEY HEAR NOT MOSES AND THE PROPHETS, NEITHER WILL THEY BE PERSUADED, THOUGH ONE ROSE
FROM THE DEAD.”

The point of  our parable is that we must care and be concerned now about the needs of our fellow man, especially those who are
less fortunate and desirable.  We must not only care for their spiritual needs but for their physical and material needs, as well. We
must love one another, a message that is brought throughout the entire Bible of both Old and New Testaments.  The point of the
message is to take heed now because once you die, it is over, and there is no chance to change.  It was too late for the rich man
because his reward is going to be hell’s fire and the second death.  The rich man wanted Abraham to send someone from the
“dead” to his five brothers so that they would repent,
(LUKE 16:30)  “AND HE SAID, NAY, FATHER ABRAHAM:  BUT IF
ONE WENT UNTO THEM FROM THE DEAD, THEY WILL REPENT.”

However, Jesus said that they still would not listen, repent, or be “persuaded” any more than the rich man did, even though one
rose from the dead.  Jesus is speaking of Himself here because He did bring the message, He did die, and He did rise from the
dead; and most all of humanity still “will not hear” or “repent,” (John 8:45; Acts 28:26-27; Acts 13:40-41; Acts 17:31).

Is hell’s fire  burning  today?  Will it burn through eternity? No, it is not, and no, it will not.
(MALACHI 4:1,3)    “FOR
BEHOLD,   THE   DAY COMETH, THAT SHALL BURN AS AN OVEN; AND ALL THE PROUD, YEA, AND ALL THAT
DO WICKEDLY, SHALL BE STUBBLE:  AND THE DAY THAT COMETH SHALL BURN THEM UP, SAITH THE LORD
OF HOSTS, AND IT SHALL LEAVE THEM NEITHER ROOT NOR BRANCH.  (3)  AND YE SHALL TREAD DOWN THE
WICKED; FOR THEY SHALL BE ASHES UNDER THE SOLES OF YOUR FEET IN THE DAY THAT I SHALL DO THIS,
SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS.”

When you destroy or burn up the root and the branch, that plant or tree is dead forever.  It will never exist or live again.  (PSALM
37:10,20)
 (10)  “FOR YET A LITTLE WHILE, AND THE WICKED SHALL NOT BE:  YEA, THOU SHALT DILIGENTLY
CONSIDER HIS PLACE, AND IT SHALL NOT BE.  (20) BUT THE WICKED SHALL PERISH, AND THE ENEMIES OF
THE LORD SHALL BE AS THE FAT OF  LAMBS:   THEY  SHALL  CONSUME;    INTO  SMOKE SHALL THEY
CONSUME AWAY.”
(EZEKIEL 18:4)  “BEHOLD, ALL SOULS ARE MINE; AS THE SOUL OF THE FATHER, SO ALSO
THE SOUL OF THE SON IS MINE:  THE SOUL THAT SINNETH, IT SHALL DIE.”
(ISAIAH 26:14)  “THEY ARE DEAD,
THEY SHALL NOT LIVE; THEY ARE DECEASED, THEY SHALL NOT RISE:  THEREFORE HAST THOU VISITED AND
DESTROYED THEM, AND MADE ALL THEIR MEMORY TO PERISH.”

I do not know how God could explain the final outcome of the lost more plain, clear, and forceful than He does here.  You cannot
possibly be all of these things and still be alive.  To believe otherwise would be absurd.
 (II THESSALONIANS 1:8-9)  (8)  “IN
FLAMING FIRE TAKING VENGEANCE ON THEM THAT KNOW NOT GOD, AND THAT OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL OF
OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST:  (9)  WHO SHALL BE PUNISHED WITH EVERLASTING DESTRUCTION FROM THE
PRESENCE OF THE LORD, AND FROM THE GLORY OF HIS POWER.”

The punishment of hell’s fire will be an “everlasting destruction.”  When you destroy something by fire, it is reduced to ashes and
destroyed forever,
(ISAIAH 1:28)  “AND THE DESTRUCTION OF THE TRANSGRESSORS AND OF THE SINNERS SHALL
BE TOGETHER, AND THEY THAT FORSAKE THE LORD SHALL BE CONSUMED.”

When something is consumed, it does not exist anymore in any way; shape; or form, period.  (PSALM 9:5-8)  (5)  “THOU HAST
REBUKED THE HEATHEN, THOU HAST DESTROYED THE WICKED, THOU HAST PUT OUT THEIR NAME FOR EVER
AND EVER.  (6)  O THOU ENEMY, DESTRUCTIONS ARE COME TO A PERPETUAL END:  AND THOU HAST
DESTROYED CITIES; THEIR MEMORIAL IS PERISHED WITH THEM.  (7)  BUT THE LORD SHALL ENDURE FOR
EVER:  HE HATH PREPARED HIS THRONE FOR JUDGMENT.  (8)  AND HE SHALL JUDGE THE WORLD IN
RIGHTEOUSNESS, HE SHALL MINISTER JUDGMENT TO THE PEOPLE IN UPRIGHTNESS.

The following words used by God in His Bible do not indicate in anyway that hell’s fire is everlasting and that the lost souls will
burn forever throughout eternity.

(1) God uses the word   “
SLAIN”  (Isaiah 11:4)

(2) God uses the  word  “
PERISH"  (John 3:16; John 10:28; Psalm 37:20; etc.)

(3) God uses the word   “
DEVOURED”  (Revelation 20:9)

(4) God uses the words  “
CUT OFF”  (Psalm 34:16; Psalm 37:28; Psalm 94:23; Psalm 101:8)

(5) God uses the words  “
BURNED UP”  (Malachi 4:1; Matt.13:40; Matt. 3:12)

(6) God uses the words “
ASHES UNDER THE SOULS OF OUR FEET”  (Malachi 4:3) and Satan’s death ----(Ezekiel 28:18-19)

(7) God used the words "
THE SOUL THAT SINNETH IT SHALL DIE”  (Ezekiel 18:4,20)

(8) God uses the words "
DEAD” and “DECEASED”  (Isaiah 26:14)

We  do  not  believe  that  Satan  will  be in  charge of hell throughout eternity.  Satan will be destroyed and be brought to death
by fire from within; he shall never live anymore, and neither will anyone else who has part in hell’s lake of fire when it comes
down from God out of heaven.

When you burn something up to ashes, it just does not exist anymore.  So will it be in hell’s fire, as hell and death will be
destroyed forever, (Revelation 20:9,14).
(EZEKIEL 28:6,8,16-19) (6)  “THEREFORE THUS SAITH THE LORD GOD;
BECAUSE THOU HAST SET THINE HEART AS THE HEART OF GOD; (8)  THEY SHALL BRING THEE DOWN TO
THE PIT, AND THOU SHALT DIE THE DEATHS OF THEM THAT ARE SLAIN IN THE MIDST OF THE SEAS.  (16)  BY
THE MULTITUDE OF THY MERCHANDISE THEY HAVE FILLED THE MIDST OF THEE WITH VIOLENCE, AND THOU
HAST SINNED:  THEREFORE I WILL CAST THEE AS PROFANE OUT OF THE MOUNTAIN OF GOD:  AND I WILL
DESTROY THEE, O COVERING CHERUB, FROM THE MIDST OF THE STONES OF FIRE. (17) THINE HEART WAS
LIFTED UP BECAUSE OF THY BEAUTY, THOU HAST CORRUPTED THY WISDOM BY REASON OF THY
BRIGHTNESS; I WILL CAST THEE TO THE GROUND, I WILL LAY THEE BEFORE KINGS, THAT THEY MAY
BEHOLD THEE. (18)  THOU HAST DEFILED THY SANCTUARIES BY THE MULTITUDE OF THINE INIQUITIES, BY
THE INIQUITY OF THY TRAFFICK; THEREFORE WILL  I  BRING FORTH A  FIRE FROM  THE  MIDST  OF
THEE,  IT SHALL DEVOUR THEE, AND I WILL BRING THEE TO ASHES UPON THE EARTH IN THE SIGHT OF ALL
THEM THAT BEHOLD THEE.  (19)  ALL THEY THAT KNOW THEE AMONG THE PEOPLE SHALL BE ASTONISHED
AT THEE:  THOU SHALT BE A TERROR, AND NEVER SHALT THOU BE ANYMORE.”
(II Pet. 2:4; Heb. 2:14; Ezek.
31:16-17; Isa. 14:9-20; Jude 6-7).

We believe that hell is an ACT that God is going to perform only once.  We believe that it is God’s act, His strange act, because
He is a God of love and of life - not death.  The act of hell is a justified act, a deserving act, a merciful and loving act, because
He will destroy the lost; and they will never be any more,
(ISAIAH 28:21-22)  (21) “FOR THE LORD SHALL RISE UP AS IN
MOUNT PERAZIM, HE SHALL BE WROTH AS IN THE VALLEY OF GIBEON, THAT HE MAY DO HIS WORK, HIS
STRANGE WORK; AND BRING TO PASS HIS ACT, HIS STRANGE ACT.  (22)  NOW THEREFORE BE YE NOT
MOCKERS, LEST YOUR BANDS BE MADE STRONG:  FOR I HAVE HEARD FROM THE LORD GOD OF HOSTS A
CONSUMPTION, EVEN DETERMINED UPON THE WHOLE EARTH.”

We believe that hell is going to take place here on the surface of this earth and not some other place, and the Bible substantiates
this clearly.  When God destroys this earth by fire and brimstone, all of the lost will be burned to death and brought to ashes.  The
results of this fire will be complete, final, and will last forever.
(II PETER 3:7,10)  (7)  “BUT THE HEAVENS AND THE
EARTH, WHICH ARE NOW, BY THE SAME WORD ARE KEPT IN STORE, RESERVED UNTO FIRE AGAINST THE DAY
OF JUDGMENT AND PERDITION OF UNGODLY MEN.  (10)  BUT THE DAY OF THE LORD WILL COME AS A THIEF
IN THE NIGHT; IN THE WHICH THE HEAVENS SHALL PASS AWAY WITH A GREAT NOISE, AND THE ELEMENTS
SHALL MELT WITH FERVENT HEAT, THE EARTH ALSO AND THE WORKS THAT ARE THEREIN SHALL BE
BURNED UP.”
(NAHUM 1:5-6)  (5) “THE MOUNTAINS QUAKE AT HIM, AND THE HILLS MELT, AND THE EARTH IS
BURNED AT HIS PRESENCE, YEA, THE WORLD AND ALL THAT DWELL THEREIN.  (6) WHO CAN STAND BEFORE
HIS INDIGNATION?  AND WHO CAN ABIDE IN THE FIERCENESS OF HIS ANGER?  HIS FURY IS POURED OUT LIKE
FIRE, AND THE ROCKS ARE THROWN DOWN BY HIM.”
(REVELATION 20:9)  “AND THEY WENT UP ON THE
BREADTH OF THE EARTH, AND COMPASSED THE CAMP OF THE SAINTS ABOUT, AND THE BELOVED CITY:
AND FIRE CAME DOWN FROM GOD OUT OF HEAVEN, AND DEVOURED THEM.”
(Malachi 4:1,3; Isa. 24:1,6,19; Isa.
28:22; Jer:25:33; Ezek . 28:18; Zeph. 3:8; Matt. 5:18; Luke 12:49; Rom 9:28; Luke 16:17; Luke 21:33; Isa. 13:6,9,13).
