The Remnant Church of Jesus Christ
We believe God wrote His Ten Commandment Law with His own finger on two tables of stone,  (DEUTERONOMY 4:13)  “AND
HE DECLARED UNTO YOU HIS COVENANT, WHICH HE COMMANDED YOU TO PERFORM, EVEN TEN
COMMANDMENTS; AND HE WROTE THEM UPON TWO TABLES OF STONE.”

We believe in keeping the entire Ten Commandment Law of God,  (EXODUS 20:3-17).

We believe that man is still subject to the Ten Commandment Law today and that it is God’s will that everyone obey it,
(JOHN 14:15,21) (15)“IF YE LOVE ME, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS    (21)  HE THAT HATH MY COMMANDMENTS,
AND  KEEPETH THEM, HE IT IS THAT LOVETH  ME: AND  HE THAT    LOVETH  ME  SHALL  BE LOVED OF MY
FATHER, AND I WILL  LOVE  HIM,  AND  WILL  MANIFEST  MYSELF  TO HIM.”
(John 15: 9-10; Rom. 13: 8-10; Deut.
4:2; Deut. 7:9; Deut. 10:12-13;  Rom. 2:13;  Ps. 40:8;  I John 2:1-6; Luke 10:25-28; Prov. 28:9;  Rev. 12:17;  Rev. 14:12;
Rev. 22:14; Ps. 119:2,34-35; 44; 47-48, 60; I Cor. 7:19; etc.).

We  believe  that  the  Law  of  God  is not grievous; on the contrary, it is holy, just, and good,  ( I JOHN 5:3)  “FOR THIS IS
THE LOVE OF GOD, THAT WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: AND HIS COMMANDMENTS ARE NOT GRIEVOUS.”
(ROM. 7:12)  “WHEREFORE THE LAW IS HOLY, AND THE COMMANDMENT HOLY, AND JUST, AND GOOD.”

We believe the Ten Commandment Law can never be altered, changed, or done away with, either in whole or in part,
(LUKE 16:17)  “AND IT IS EASIER FOR HEAVEN AND EARTH TO PASS, THAN ONE TITTLE OF THE LAW TO FAIL.”
(PSALM 11:7-8)   (7)  “THE WORKS OF HIS HANDS ARE VERITY AND JUDGMENT; ALL HIS COMMANDMENTS
ARE SURE.   (8)  THEY STAND FAST FOR EVER AND EVER, AND ARE DONE IN TRUTH AND UPRIGHTNESS.”
(Matt. 5:17-18; Isa. 40:8)....It would be easier for Jesus to destroy heaven and earth than it would be for Him to change the
dotting of an (i) or the crossing of a (t) in His holy law because God changes not, (the covenant - Psalm 89:34 and Hebrews
8:10) (Malachi 3:6;  Heb. 13:8).

We  believe  that  Jesus  did  not  do  away  with  His  Ten Commandment Law when He summed up the law in two
commandments.  What He did was to show us the two tables of stone and what each table meant and represented,
(Matt. 22:36-40) The first table of stone (the first four commandments) deals exclusively with our relationship with God
(Exodus 20:3-11).
(MATTHEW 22:37-38)  (37) “JESUS SAID UNTO HIM, THOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD THY GOD
WITH ALL THY HEART, AND WITH ALL THY SOUL, AND WITH ALL THY MIND.   (38) THIS IS THE FIRST AND
GREAT COMMANDMENT.”
And the second table of stone (the last six commandments) deals exclusively with our
relationship between one another (Exodus 20:12-17).
(MATTHEW 22:39)  “AND THE SECOND IS LIKE UNTO IT,
THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF.”

Further proof is that Jesus and the apostles referred to His Ten Commandment Law when speaking to the young rich man,
(MATTHEW 19:18-19)
  (18)  “HE SAITH UNTO HIM, WHICH?  JESUS SAID, THOU SHALT DO NO MURDER, THOU
SHALT NOT  COMMIT ADULTERY,  THOU SHALT  NOT  STEAL,    THOU  SHALT  NOT  BEAR  FALSE WITNESS.
(19)  HONOUR THY FATHER AND THY MOTHER:  AND THOU SHALT LOVE THY NEIGHBOUR AS THYSELF.”
(Matt. 19:16-19; James 2:10-11; Rom. 13:8-9).

We believe that  for  those  who  refuse  to  hear  the law or commandments of God, even their prayers are abominable unto
Him,
(PROVERBS 28:9)  “HE THAT TURNETH AWAY HIS EAR FROM HEARING THE LAW, EVEN HIS PRAYER
SHALL BE ABOMINATION.”
 (II Tim. 4:3-4).

We believe that to  offend or break  one commandment is to break them all,  (JAMES 2:10) “FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL
KEEP THE WHOLE LAW, AND YET OFFEND IN ONE POINT, HE IS GUILTY OF ALL.”

We believe in keeping the commandments of God-not to be saved - but because we are saved.  We believe the Law of God is
Love.  We believe that love and obedience must go together, as they are inseparable,
(JOHN 14:15)  “IF YE LOVE ME, KEEP
MY COMMANDMENTS.”
(John 14:21; I John 5:1-3; John 15:10; I John 4:16; Matt. 22:37-39; Rom. 13:10; etc.).

We believe that you can keep all of  the commandments  of God and still be lost.  We believe that the law has no power of itself,
and it can not save anyone,
(ROMANS 3:20)  “THEREFORE BY THE DEEDS OF THE LAW THERE SHALL NO FLESH
BE JUSTIFIED IN HIS SIGHT:  FOR BY THE LAW IS THE KNOWLEDGE OF SIN.”
(Gal. 2:16).

We also believe that without the keeping of the Law or Commandments, you can not be saved,   (MATTHEW 19:17)  “AND HE
SAID UNTO HIM, WHY CALLEST THOU ME GOOD?  THERE IS NONE GOOD BUT ONE, THAT IS, GOD:  BUT IF
THOU WILL ENTER INTO LIFE, KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS.”
(Rom. 3:31; John 14:15,21; Rev. 14:12)

The following is what makes the difference:  What we will be judged on is our attitude and desire towards God, and what it
was that motivated us.  Was it fear?  Did we keep the commandments of God because we were afraid to go to hell or for some
other reasons?  Did we keep them in order to be saved?  Or did we keep them because we love God and want to obey Him
because we are already saved?  This last reason is the only one acceptable to God.
 (HEBREWS 5:9) “AND BEING MADE
PERFECT, HE BECAME THE AUTHOR OF ETERNAL SALVATION UNTO ALL THEM THAT OBEY HIM;”
(Rom.2:13,
IIThess.1:8; etc.), Only Jesus can save us.

We believe that  those who  have  never  heard or  read  the gospel and the Law of God because of their primitive isolation are,
in fact, a law unto themselves; and they can still be saved.  This is made possible because the Law of God is written in the hearts
and minds of all men, and this is the New Covenant.  Salvation  has  gone to  everyone,
(HEBREWS 8:10)  “FOR THIS IS THE
COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAITH THE LORD; I WILL PUT
MY LAWS INTO THEIR MIND, AND WRITE THEM IN THEIR HEARTS:  AND I WILL BE TO THEM A GOD, AND THEY
SHALL BE TO ME A PEOPLE:”
(ROMANS 2:14-15)   (14)  “FOR WHEN THE GENTILES, WHICH HAVE NOT THE LAW,
DO BY NATURE THE THINGS CONTAINED IN THE LAW, THESE HAVING NOT THE LAW, ARE A LAW UNTO
THEMSELVES:  (15)  WHICH SHEW THE WORK OF THE LAW WRITTEN IN THEIR HEARTS, THEIR CONSCIENCE
ALSO BEARING WITNESS, AND THEIR THOUGHTS THE MEAN WHILE ACCUSING OR ELSE EXCUSING ONE
ANOTHER;”
(Rom. 2:12-13; Titus 2:11).

We believe the conclusion to this whole  matter is  for every one to fear God and keep His commandments. (ECCLESIASTES
12:13)
“LET US HEAR THE CONCLUSION OF THE WHOLE MATTER:  FEAR GOD, AND KEEP HIS
COMMANDMENTS:  FOR THIS IS THE WHOLE DUTY OF MAN.”
(Joshua 22:5).
